AFTER GIVING BIRTH

The postpartum period is a time of intense change. The body is recovering, emotions often become more sensitive, and daily life begins to revolve around caring for the baby. Alongside the joy of the baby’s arrival, deep fatigue, doubts, or a feeling of being overwhelmed may also appear.
The arrival of a child also transforms the couple’s relationship. Amid new demands, tensions can sometimes arise, along with difficulties in communication or in finding shared time together.
In our sessions we can explore aspects such as:
  • Emotional changes in the postpartum period.
  • Anxiety or sadness after birth.
  • The impact of fatigue and social expectations around motherhood.
  • The mother–baby bond.
  • Changes in the couple’s relationship after the baby’s arrival and how to navigate them.

The postpartum period can be a particularly vulnerable time. Having psychological support during this stage can help you understand what you are going through and find ways to care for yourself as well during these first months.
